A+ design, beautifully configured kitchen that I have loved for 8 years. Cabinets are lovely cherry and wipe easily to clean, counters gleam still, and appliances all still going strong. We highly recommend Andrew Davenport for any kitchen design you have in mind. When we moved into our 45 year old home, we knew we wanted a new kitchen, but had no idea exactly what we wanted or how to get it. All we knew was that it had to be big enough to hold a clan gathering of 30-40 people, yet cozy and warm enough for just 2 people. Our contractor recommended Andrew, who then took us through​ the process of discovering how we wanted our kitchen to look, the products available in our price range and the design we wanted. He was always available when we had questions (even on weekends!) and went above and beyond in the research department. We purchased a 50 yr old home in West Hartford with the anticipation of updating the kitchen and bathrooms. Andrew came to the house and listened to our ideas. He took measurements and promised a plan in a week. He came back with 2 plans. The first plan fit into the existing kitchen footprint. The second plan was his recommendation to take out a wall and move the kitchen to the opposite end of the room and make 1 open space. Although it was slightly more work, we chose Andrew's proposal and it was a home run. The kitchen is the focal point of the house and all of our friends rave about the design and large island every time they see it. Andrew also assisted with picking out granite, sinks, faucets and hardware within our budget. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the installation of our new kitchen.
